Multiplatform automation system E·ProBAS:
E·ProBAS is a powerful automation system for the realisation of compact control functions extending to complex, distributed
plant controls with high-speed control loops under tough
realtime conditions. Solutions from PC-based automation
to an automation network with several slide-in multiprocessor
modules can be designed flexibly and in a modular fashion
with E·ProBAS.
E·ProBAS supports the following platforms:
- IPC
- VMEbus
- Compact PCI
- Multibus II
The various platforms can also be used together in one application.
The graphical development tools conforming to
DIN IEC 61131-3 for the target system platforms
IPC, VMEbus, Compact PCI and Multibus II enables
standardised software solutions with a high degree of
reuse and without porting effort when changing to another platform. The tool supports all project phases from
engineering of the hardware through software creation to debugging the software.
The use of industrial automation standards ensures one
of the most important characteristics of E·ProBAS: its openness. Standard industrial components from renowned manufacturersare tested and validated in extensive tests for use in E·ProBAS, meaning that programmers can
concentrate fully on their application tasks. Numerous reference projects bear witness to its reliability. E·ProBAS has proven itself in critical applications.
