A development towards the holistic mechatronic system
approach is currently taking place in machine construction.
Following this transformation, Eckelmann AG offers motion
control solutions for machines and production facilities.
Mechanical couplings, for example vertical shafts or
camshafts, are replaced by intelligent, decentralised
drive units which are mutually networked. The high-speed
exchange of data in the drive network enables highly precise electronically controlled synchronisation of the individual drives.
