PC-based CNC: E·PNC55
A short PCI card with a 32-bit processor from the PowerPC
family accommodates the entire CNC functionality with the
necessary machine and drive interfaces. The spectrum of
use ranges from simple positioning tasks to complex 3D
contouring control applications. As a new CNC solution,
E·PNC55 unites all the advantages of commercially available
CNC controllers in an intelligent PC card at an attractive cost.
Description of functions:
- Slot CNC for the PCI bus with 32-bit controller MPC555
- Powerful NC operating system with programming to DIN66025 with an extended command repertoire and
an additional formula interpreter
- Up to 12 axes, six of them simultaneously interpolating
- Integrated PLC, programmable in all languages to IEC61131-3
- Machine constants file for adaptation to the machine
and technology
- Freely designable graphical CNC user interface for Windows 9x, Windows NT and Windows 2000
- Remote maintenance and service supported
- Software packages for axis optimisation, CAD conversion, remote diagnosis, etc.
- 1st CANopen® interface for interfacing the machine
I/Os via field bus terminals and connection of
CANopen® terminal devices
- 2nd CANopen® interface for communication with digital drive amplifiers (DSP-402 protocol) including parameterisation and drive diagnostics
- SERCOS interface as a further optional drive interface
- Synchronous serial interface for direct interfacing of 24 digital inputs and outputs each or for customised wiring
- Pilot Life Check LEDs
- Additional possibility of connectig analog inputs and PWM outputs
