Building management combining refrigeration and building control
The E·LDS system comprises a multi-stage concept for combining refrigeration automation solutions with control and monitoring of building systems such as space heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting.
This starts with the store computer, wich incorporates a number of functions for building control (universal timers with external switching outputs) and energy management (multi-stage shedding of external loads with external switching outputs, etc.).
For more complex applications the system provices universal interfaces (fieldbus) for connecting and networking other building systems. Parameter setting and configuration is made with the store computer for remote monitoring and remote operation or using the monitoring software. Custom solutions can easily be implemented with industrially approved programmable logic controllers designed and built by ECKELMANN (to IEC 61131).
Combination of refrigeration control and building control results in better organized, more intelligible supermarket automation altogether and lowers capital investment. It makes all visualization an documentation functions and especially remote monitoring and remote operation functions usable also for building
control and automation.

- Alarming and archiving of heating, ventilaton, air conditioning and other building systems

- Recording of building system energy consumption, e.g. gas, water and electric power, for comparison with other facilites
