Embedded
The embedded controllers from ECKELMANN expand the
field bus terminals in the E·FBM series, transforming them
into a modular PLC. Users can choose from three available
performance levels depending on how sophisticated their
application is. All embedded controllers use the same PLC
programming tool to IEC 61131-3. They support the same
communication standards such as Ethernet TCP/IP and
CANopen® . The industrial PCs and compact operating units
belonging to ECKELMANN's PLC product spectrum are also identical for all controllers.
Users have three controllers to choose from:
- ELC53: 2xCAN, Ethernet and V24, 256KBytes flash ROM and 512 KBytes SRAM
- ELC55: 2xCAN, Ethernet and V24,
1 MByte flash ROM and 2 MBytes SRAM
- ELC66: 4xCAN, Ethernet and V24, SD-Card, USB, 16 MByte Flash, 64MByte SDRAM
The controllers can also be optionally equipped with more memory volume. Low-cost variants without an Ethernet
interface are also available.
