Industrial PC E·IPC:
As convenient operator control and monitoring components,
the industrial PCs in the E·IPC series unite the power of the most up-to-date PC technology with flexibility for customised adaptations. E.IPC consist of systems based on a compact
structure, that can be expanded in a modular fashion.
Thanks to the use of moden processors, the industrial PCs
from ECKELMANN ensure orientation to increasingly complex production and manufacturing processes. The special design
feature is the sturdy design of the front elements.
With its very good backlighting, the 12" TFT display with a resolution of 800*600 pixels ensures sharply focussed
and brilliant graphics. Even from extreme angles, the monitor is rich in contrast and can be viewed with ease. The keyboard
includes the complete ASCII character set, a 10-key keypad, Windows function keys and 16 customer-specific
keys for direct user functions. A diskette slot on the front
and a CD-R/W slot with a lockable cover to IP65 round off
the front. Under no circumstances can water splashes,
dust, oil and grease impair the functions and durability of
the E.IPC. The front panel design can be adapted to suit
customers' requirements. In terms of their colour and
symbols, the front foils can be adapted to specific machines,
even in small series. The colouring is oriented to RAL colours, which can be reproduced when producing the foils. Special foils for aggressive media are available on request.
The Windows 95/98 and Windows NT operating systems
are available as the software platform. The required operating system is subjected to a function test and pre-installed before delivery of the series E.IPC industrial PCs, together with the required programming software and the chosen visualisation. This reduces commissioning effort for the user to installation and field cabling of the connected peripherals.
