Motion Control solutions for controlling coordinated multiple-axis applications
ECKELMANN offers motion controls for synchronisation of spatially separate
servo axes in conformity with PLCopen on its embedded controllers. Users can
call up the new motion control functions, embedded in the IEC 61131-3 programming
tool CoDeSys, as function blocks.
The EMC package offers the adequate hardware and software implementation
wherever multiple-axis motions are required to high precision and synchronicity
and at a high speed within the range of milliseconds. The motion control functions
are scalable up to 60 axes and permit machine configuration
at optimised cost.
With E·ExC66, ECKELMANN realises motion control solutions in
which mechanical coupling elements such as vertical shafts or cams are replaced
by intelligent decentralised drive units. This unites the advantages of maximum
axis functionality with cost reduction in the event of a format and product
change. CANopen® is available as the drive interface. In future ECKELMANN
will be able to offer SERCOS III.
ECKELMANN offers an all-round care-free package for machine constructors who
want to free themselves entirely from PLC development. In conformity with a
specification, application experts will create a machine control in accordance
with the 'Plug 'n' Play' principle and, if required, will also be available
to assist with commissioning.
